Smog Master Systems LLC (“Smog Master“, “we”, “us” or “our“) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information in our custody and control. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect the personal information in connection with our website www.smogmaster.biz (the “Site“), software tools and related services (together with the Site, the “Services“).

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the Effective Date listed above. We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on our Site. By continuing to use our Services after any changes are made to this Policy, you are accepting the changes to the Policy.

Our Services help smog testing shops (“Clients“) manage their business and operations. In providing our Services, we collect personal information relating to Clients and their owners, employees and representatives (“Client Data“). We also may collect personal information relating to our Client’s customers (“Customer Data“). We may process Customer Data on behalf of our Clients as their service provider. Our Clients are accountable for the Customer Data that we process on their behalf. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and have questions about how your Customer Data is handled, please contact the Client directly.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

You can visit our Site without providing any personal information.

If you contact us to request information about our Services, or with other inquiries, we will collect your name and contact information and any other information that you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your request. We may also use this information to provide you with other information and materials that we think may be of interest to you.

If you choose to register for our Services as a Client, we will collect: business name, email address, physical address and telephone; other information about your business, such as size and type; payment card information, banking information or other information to process payments; user name and password; and information about the owners, employees and representatives of the business, such as name, email address, and telephone number.

Our Clients will have access to Customer Data relating to their own customers. We are not responsible for our Client’s handling of Customer Data. If you are a customer of a Client and have questions about how your Customer Data is handled, please contact the applicable Client directly.

SMS Consent or phone numbers are not shared for the purpose of SMS with third parties or affiliates.

Retention of Personal Information

Personal information is maintained on our servers or those of our service providers and is retained as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with prudent business practices on general document retention, or as otherwise required by law.
